Featured in McCall's Quilting December 2006 Issue Inspired by Pointedly Classic (McCall's Quilting, February 2003), Emily Jones of New Harmony, Utah, optimistically planned this king-size quilt for her husband Don's birthday. Although his birthday is in March, he was delighted to receive the quilt the following November—just in time for below-freezing temperatures! Knot Garden (McCall's Quilting, August 2003) was the inspiration for this quilt by Roberta Allen of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. She made the enlarged version as a gift for her sister Donna Jassman, to thank her for her support when Roberta's husband, Bob, was going through a serious illness.
