...Lisa used hand-dyed and over-dyed felted wools to add depth and dimension to her stocking appliqués. One piece of over-dyed wool looks like several different color shades.
... To felt wool, select a hot wash/rinse cycle with plenty of agitation on your washing machine and add a small amount of detergent. Machine dry on a hot cycle.
... Because the width of felted wool yardage varies, we call for felted wool pieces rather than yardage.
... Use 100% cotton fabrics for the lining and binding.
