3. Position batting Template A on wrong side of brown Template A and baste 1/8" in from edges (Diagram III). Make 2 (1 plain, 1 appliquéd).

4. Referring to Diagram IV, fold pink ribbon or cording in half and position with raw ends matching raw edges of brown Template A. Pin raw ends matching raw edges of brown Template A. Pin in place. Position brown Template A fabrics right sides together, aligning raw edges (Diagram V). Stitch curved seam using 1/4" seam allowance, catching raw ends of pink ribbon in seam. Press seam open and trim.

5. To make lining, place purple batik Template A fabrics right sides together, aligning raw edges. Stitch curved seam using 1/4" seam allowance (Diagram VI). Press seam open.
6. Position lining inside brown wool cozy, right sides together, aligning raw edges. Stitch bottom edge, using 1/4" seam and leaving opening for turning (Diagram VII). Trim seam allowance. Turn cozy right side out and hand stitch opening closed. Press and topstitch 1/4" from bottom edge.
