Planning
Toby's pieced backing makes her quilt reversible, for twice the interest and twice the wear. When layering for quilting, carefully match seam lines and raw edges of the quilt top and pieced back. Note that this pieced backing is the same size as the quilt top. If you will be sending your work to a professional machine quilter, check for backing size requirements. You may need to add a temporary border to the pieced backing so it can be secured in the longarm machine.
