The finishing touch is a very dramatic shawl made from silk/rayon burnout velvet. The borders are crushed velvet, and large tassels adorn the 4 corners. Swarovski crystals twinkle on the borders.

My original idea was a futuristic version of an Erte costume, inspired by a Diaghilev ballet, for an Opera Diva a few hundred years from now. Now my vision was reality, ready to take on a life of its own ... ready to be shipped out and seen by thousands of wearable art fans.
