If you can cut and sew straight lines, you have this super-fast quilt made! Every piece in its construction starts as a width of fabric (WOF) strip, and blocks are cut from simple-to-sew strip sets.
Fabric Requirements & Cutting
  Fabric Yardage WOF Strips
      4 1/2" 2 1/2" 1 1/2" 7"
Gold tree print* 2 1/4 yds 7 7 - -
Blue-on-blue print 1 yd - 7 7 -
Yellow circle print 3/4 yd - - 14 -
Brown-on-brown print 3/4 yd - - 14 -
Blue leaf print 2 yds 14 - - -
Copper-on-gold print 5/8 yd - 7 - -
Tan circle print 1/2 yd - - 7 -
Blue stripe leaf print 2 1/4 yds - - - 10**

Piecing the Blocks
Referring to Diagram I-A, sew WOF strips together as shown, press, and cut into 21 Strip-pieced Blocks 12 1/2 wide. In same manner, strip-piece, press, and cut second arrangement to make 21 Strip-pieced Blocks (Diagram I-B).
