Making #1 Pieced Pillow
1. Referring to Diagram I-A, fold and press "C" 1 1/2" x 13" strips in half lengthwise, wrong sides together, for flange. Fold and press 4. Align 2 with raw edges of "E" 1 3/4" x 13" strip (Diagram I-B). Baste in place using a scant 1/4" seam allowance. Make 2.
2. Sew strips together to make pillow top (Diagram II-A). Once strips are sewn together, press flanges out from center of E strips (Diagram II-B). Baste or pin in place. |
