Planning, Cutting, and Marking
The green/blue pillow is finished with bias binding. See Continuous Bias directions (see Basic Quiltmaking Instructions) and use 2" binding strip width to prepare the binding. Using slightly larger pillow forms than the finished pillow cover sizes is a simple trick that ensures a plump, well-stuffed look.

Piecing the Tops
Step 1. Stitch bright blue texture 1 3/4” x 9 1/2” strips to sides of bright green print 9 1/2” square (Diagram I). Stitch bright blue texture 1 3/4” x 12” strips to top and bottom.
