Fabric Requirements (for two pillowcases)
Green stripe 1/4 yd.*
White dot print 1 5/8 yds.*
Multicolor dot print 5/8 yd.*
Assorted bright prints 1/2 yd. total
*Fabric must have at least 41 1/2" of useable width. Stripes on green fabric run parallel to selvedge.

Pillowcase Assembly
Step 1. Fold green strip in half lengthwise, wrong sides together; press. Place on white rectangle, aligning raw edges (Diagram I). Baste in place.

Step 2. Fold multicolor dot strip in half lengthwise, wrong sides together. Referring to Diagram II, stitch multicolor dot strip to green strip, right sides together, sewing through all layers. Press multicolor dot strip open and green strip to white strip.

Step 3. Referring to Diagram III, finger-press pieced rectangle in 3 places as shown; use folds as placement guide. Referring to Diagram III and photo, position 6 matching Template A fabrics and Template B circle. Appliqué in place.

Step 4. Fold in half, right sides together, as shown in Diagram IV. Using 1/4" seam allowance, stitch layers together along 2 sides. Turn right side out to complete pillowcase. Repeat Steps 1 through 4 to make second pillowcase.
