3. Referring to Diagram II-B, sew 2 Template A triangles together to make strip-pieced square. Make 14 total green/white and 10 total pink/white.

4. Draw diagonal line on wrong side of assorted white/pastel print 2 1/2" square. Referring to Diagram III, place marked square on assorted pink print 2 1/2" square, right sides together. Stitch on drawn line; trim away and discard excess fabric. Press open to make small pieced square. Make 10 total white/pink squares. In same manner, make pink/pink, white/lavender, pink/lavender, and green/lavender small pieced squares in quantities shown.

5. Sew 4 small pieced squares together to make pinwheel square, watching fabric placement (Diagram IV). Make 24 total in arrangements shown.

6. Use 2 strip-pieced squares and 2 pinwheel squares each to make 12 total Border Blocks, in fabric arrangements and quantities shown (DiagramV).

Refer to Assembly Diagram for following steps.
7. To make center, sew 3 vertical rows of 3 center squares each, watching fabric placement. Sew rows together. Stitch yellow-on-yellow print 12 1/2" strips to sides. Sew yellow texture 16 1/2" strips to top/bottom.
8. To make side pieced border, sew 2 A blocks together. Make 2. Sew to sides, watching orientation.
9. To make top/bottom pieced border, sew 2 B and 2 C blocks together end to end, watching placement and orientation. Make 2. Sew to top/bottom.
10. Sew assorted yellow floral WOF strips to sides; trim even with top and bottom. Sew remaining assorted yellow floral WOF strips to top/bottom; trim even with sides.

11. Lay table topper on backing square, right sides together, aligning raw edges. Using 1/4" seam allowance, sew around edges leaving an 8" opening for turning on one side. Trim corners and turn topper right side out. Press and hand stitch opening closed.
