Assorted navy textures (block backgrounds) 3 1/4 - 3 3/4 yds. total
Green print (stems, leaves) 1 1/2 yds.
Yellow/red plaid (setting triangles) 1 3/4 yds.
Maroon stripe (inner border) 1/2 yd.
Navy star print (outer border, binding) 2 5/8 yds.

The setting triangles in Pat's quilt are cut so that the plaid "reads" diagonally, but this creates bias edges along the quilt center. Our instructions will lead you to cut the triangles so that the straight of grain is on the outside edges, and the plaid will read along that straight of grain. If you prefer to cut your triangles as Pat did, you will need to purchase additional yellow/red plaid fabric.
