Heart To Heart
Designed by Mary Jobe Mason
Look closely at the large
medallion in the center of Mary Jobe Mason's wall hanging,
and you will see four hearts, one on each side of the
central star. Each heart is bordered with the same fabric
used in the outer border of the quilt, which is bound
with the same dark green that defines the hearts in the
center. Elaborate quilting in the off-white background
features more hearts, as well as curves, like those in
the "marbleized" border fabric.
