3.) Sew 2 1/2" x WOF beige
strips to sides of quilt and trim ends even with top and bottom (depending
upon width of beige fabric, piecing strips may be necessary to gain
enough length). Sew 2 1/2" x WOF beige strips to top and bottom
of quilt and trim ends even with sides.
4.) Cut one 2" x WOF green
print strip in half and use to extend border strips for sides of quilt.
Stitch to sides and trim ends even with top and bottom. Sew 2"
x WOF green print strips to top and bottom of quilt and trim ends even
with sides.
5.) Sew 6" x 54" tulip
print strips to sides of quilt and trim ends even with top and bottom.
Sew 6" x 50" tulip print strips to top and bottom of quilt
and trim ends even with sides.
Quilting and Finishing
6.) Layer and baste quilt top for quilting method of your choice
(see Basic
Quiltmaking Instructions). Quilt as desired.
7.) Bind with remaining green print
fabric (see Basic
Quiltmaking Instructions).
