Spring for a Cure
The search for a cure for breast cancer goes on and with it our commitment to helping raise funds for breast cancer research. As many of you know, for the past several years McCall's Quilting has offered readers a specially designed quilt featuring fabrics from Bonnie Benn Stratton's Quilt For A Cure™ fabric line. This year's fabric collection, manufactured by Timeless Treasures, offers a selection of plant-inspired prints. But these aren't just a random selection of plants that Bonnie picked for their beauty or fragrance; these plants are all used in the chemotherapy drugs used to treat breast cancer.

Aptly named The Healing Garden, the special prints and colors selected for this fabric collection are meant to give hope to those who have been touched by this life-threatening disease. As always, a percentage of all sales of this fabric, as well as proceeds from the raffle of the original quilt at the American Quilter's Society Show in Paducah, Kentucky, will go directly to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

We are again grateful to Lynn Dash for designing and piecing the quilt and Pat Burnham for quilting it. These women tirelessly give of their talents year after year to help in the search for a cure.

Please help us as we raise funds for this worthy cause through our mutual love of quilting. Together we can make a difference!
