Step 4. To prepare pieced squares for pieced border strips, sew cream 2 3/8" half-square triangles to assorted print 2 5/8" square as shown in Diagram VI-A. Make 92 total. Sew squares together in quantities given in Diagram VI-B to make strips. Note: For the quilt top/bottom border strips (26-square strips), Lynn stitched the squares together in a repeating fabric sequence. Stitch medium green print 2" x WOF strips to sides; trim even with top/bottom. Stitch remaining medium green print 2" x WOF strips to top/bottom; trim even with sides. Sew cream 3 1/2" x 40" strips to sides; trim even with top/bottom. Stitch remaining cream strips to top/bottom; trim even with sides.
