Putting It All Together
Note: Refer to Assembly Diagram for the
following steps:
Step 10 ...
Sew diagonal rows using Floral Basket Blocks, 10 1/2" cream squares,
8" cream half-square triangles on corners, and 15 3/8" cream
quarter-square triangles on sides.
Step 11
... Sew 1 1/2" x 77" medium red strips to sides and 1 1/2"
x 62" medium red strips to top and bottom of quilt center. Miter
corners.
Step 12
... Stitch pieced borders to sides, top, and bottom of quilt. Add corner
units to complete quilt top.
Quilting and Finishing
Step 13 ... Layer and baste quilt top
for quilting method of your choice (see Basic Quiltmaking Instructions).
Quilt as desired.
Step 14
... Bind with remaining dark green fabric (see Basic
Quiltmaking Instructions).
