3. Referring to Diagrams III-A and B, sew 2 white 5 1/2" quarter-square triangles and 2 green 5 1/2" quarter-square triangles together to make pieced square. Make 24.
4. Using strip-set segments, pieced rectangles, and pieced squares, stitch units as shown in Diagrams IV and V. Make 24 of each.

Putting It All Together
Note: Refer to Assembly Diagram for following steps.
5. Sew 20 diagonal rows using pieced units and remaining white, lavender, and green squares. Place 7 1/4" green quarter-square triangles at each end of rows and 3 7/8" half-square triangles on each corner. Sew rows together.

Quilting and Finishing
6. Layer and baste quilt top for quilting method of your choice. Quilt as desired.
7. Bind quilt with remaining dark green mottle fabric
(see Basic Quiltmaking Instructions).
