3. Note: Use same fabric for two adjacent sides of block before changing to a different fabric. Referring to Diagram II-A, chain sew pieced units to dark print 1 1/8" x WOF strip. Cut apart, press, and trim. Repeat for remaining side of pieced unit to complete Round 1 (Diagram II-B). Start Round 2 with second light print 1 1/8" strip (Diagram II-C). Continue chain piecing to appropriate strips (see Diagram II-D) to complete Log Cabin Block. Make 143 total.

Quilt Top Assembly
4. Referring to Assembly Diagram, stitch 13 rows of 11 blocks each. Sew rows together.

Quilting & Finishing
5. Layer and baste quilt top for quilting method of your choice (see Basic Quiltmaking Instructions). The original quilt is quilted with allover diagonal lines spaced 1 1/2" apart.
6. Bind quilt with ivory texture fabric (see Basic Quiltmaking Instructions).
