Sleepytime Kitties
From the Fall 2001 Issue
Owned by Beth Hayes

Sleepytime Kitties
Kitties take their ease on this unusual child's quilt. Although the sleeping cats look like they might have snuggled down only yesterday, this piece was made at least six decades ago.

PLANNING A REPRODUCTION
The borders on the original quilt have mitered corners; we instruct you to use butted borders. If you prefer to miter, purchase sufficient yardage.

Cut the background squares oversized if you wish (being sure to plan ahead and purchase extra fabric) to have some allowance for shrinkage during appliqué; trim to 8 1/2" once appliqué and embroidery are complete.
