Square-in-a-Square Unit
Draw a diagonal line on wrong side of 2" squares. Using Diagram
III as a guide, layer dark blue square and upper right corner of Piece
1D background square, right sides together. Sew directly on top of
drawn line. Cut away excess fabric 1/4" from seamline. Press
seam allowance toward corner triangle. Repeat the steps for each corner
of the square. Make 4.
