Beginner Level

Cutting Instructions
1/4" seam allowance included in measurements

Jack in the Pulpit Block
Cream ... Color #1
... 1A - Cut two 3 7/8" Squares
... 1B - Cut eight 3 7/8" Half Square Triangles

Red ... Color #2
...2A - Cut two 3 7/8" Squares

Periwinkle ... Color #3
... 3C - Cut four 4 3/4" x 2 5/8" Rectangles

Print ... Color #4
... 4D - Cut four 2 5/8" Squares
... 4E - Cut one 4 3/4" Square

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

Pieced Squares: Layer 1A and 2A, right side to right side, together. On wrong side of lightest fabric, draw diagonal line with the marking tool of your choice. Sew 1/4" seam on each side of marked line; cut apart on marked line. Press triangles open to make pieced squares. Press seam allowance toward dark fabric.
