Quilters' Connection

Featured in McCall's Quilting December 2004 Issue

Girl Scouts and Quilts

Jolene Lundin of Bemidji, Minnesota, shares this photo of the graduating girls from Girl Scout Troop 289 and their troop leader. The quilts were made by the troop leader, the co-leader, and a friend during an overnight at camp using Down the Garden Path (McCall's Quilting, April 2002).

Shirley Haugen of Washburn, Wisconsin, made her version of Comfort and Joy (McCall's Quilting, December 1998) as a gift for her son. It is hand quilted, featuring an original border design. Shirley (at left) subscribes to both McCall's Quilting and McCall's Quick Quilts. Comfort and Joy
