Featured in McCall's Quilting December 2007 Issue House on Willow Hill (McCall's Quilting, April-December 2006) was made by Audrey Suiter of McCook, Nebraska, for her daughter-in-law, Julie, who lives on a tree-covered hill near Des Moines, Iowa. Audrey has been quilting for 3 years, and enjoyed learning the variety of techniques included in our Home Schooling project.     McCall’s Quilting's August 2006 issue inspired Marilyn Hamilton Goyette of Davison, Michigan, to make several quilts, including this version of Welcome Home for her son, Colonel Charles Hamilton, who is in Kuwait for a year.
