Featured in McCall's Quilting February 2005 Issue Quilters Kim Davis of England (left) and Kathi Springmeier of the U.S. (right) adapted Whistle Stop (McCall's Quilting, October 2000) to show off fabrics collected while living in Abidjan, Ivory Coast (West Africa). Kim's quilt is named Second Republic and Kathi's quilt is Squares on Safari. Evelyn McHugh of Chardon, Ohio, made Stars of Glory (McCall's Quilting, August 1999) for her son, Troy. She enlarged it to queen size, hand quilted it, and finished it in 13 months.
