Quilters' Connection

Featured in McCall's Quilting February 2006 Issue

Family Pride

Sarah Bobo, Kathy Grant, and Brenda Edwards, all currently living in Lubbock, Texas, made their own versions of Family Pride (McCall's Quilting, October 2005). As family members of servicemen, they wanted to make Blue Star quilts to cuddle up with while their loved ones are stationed in Southern Iraq. "Quilting, pride, and patriotism are just a few of the common ties that bind us together," writes Sarah.
Asian Elegance
Barbara Tennison of Mountain Home, Arkansas, saw Asian Elegance (McCall's Quilting, April 2005) and knew it was perfect for her mother. Barbara quickly finished the quilt in time for her mother's 86th birthday celebration.
