Featured in McCall's Quilting February 2006 Issue   Christy poses patiently in front of "her" quilt, inspired by Puppy Love (McCall's Quilting, April 2005). Jane Farley of Chase Mills, New York, made the quilt for her husband's retirement, choosing fabrics to appeal to his love of pheasant hunting, fall leaves, and, of course, his golden retriever. Sweetheart Stars (McCall's Quilting, February 2005) inspired Anne Robison of Montrose, Colorado, to make her larger version. Using 27 additional blocks, it covers the top of her queen size bed. She also enlarged the borders to cover the sides, making her finished quilt 102" x 102". This beauty was machine quilted by Zoe Larkin, also of Montrose. Return to Quilters' Connection Index
