Featured in McCall's Quilting June 2005 Issue M. J. Whitley of Janesville, California, submitted this picture of her daughter Jessika and grandson Parker standing in front of Stars & Stripes Forever, a bonus pattern from the McCall's Quilting website. The judges at the Lassen County Fair in Susanville, California, awarded Jessika a first prize for her work.     Laurie Bird of Sherman Oaks, California, chose to make Swimming Upstream (McCall's Quilting, June 2003) using some of her father's clothing in memory of his passing. She presented the quilt to her mother as a keepsake.
