Featured in McCall's Quilting June 2007 Issue Linda Staiert of Topeka, Kansas, combined two McCall's Quilting patterns to make a quillow for her husband when he was deployed to Iraq with his National Guard unit. She made American Sweetheart (June 2006) as the quilt, and Family Pride (October 2005) as the pillow pocket. She added a very special hug for her hubby.   McCall's Quilting's June 2005 issue featured Celestial View, which Nancy Biggs of Highlands Ranch, Colorado, enlarged for her son, Trent. Her finished quilt, named Celestial Extravaganza, measures 90" x 100", and won a Celebrity Judge's ribbon at a local quilt show.
