Featured in McCall's Quilting August 2004 Issue Elizabeth (Lizzy) Ainsley Leach is all smiles as she sits on her special quilt. Nosegay Trio (McCall's Quilting, June 2002) was machine pieced, hand embroidered, and hand quilted by her grandmother Mary Piechura of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Millennium Melody (McCall's Quilting, February 2000) was designed as a project to celebrate the new millennium. Colleen Zavrel of Oshawa, Ontario, Canada, and five friends met twice a month to make and exchange blocks.
