Featured in McCall's Quilting August 2006 Issue Dianne Morales of Thibodaux, Louisiana, adapted Sand Castle Dreams (McCall's Quilting, August 2005) for her granddaughter, 5-year old Amber. She combined preprinted princess squares with the sand castle blocks to make the perfect quilt for her little princess.   Flip Flops in Paradise (McCall's Quilting, October 2005) inspired Jolene Southard of Bremerton, Washington, to make a special birthday gift for her friend Gen. Jolene found fabrics that matched Gen's personality and interests and included them in this larger version.
