Over the past several years, many of you have corresponded with us via e-mail and letters, sharing your enthusiasm for Robert Callaham's series quilts, Grandma's Country Album I and II and Medallion Serenade. We've loved hearing your stories and seeing photos of your quilts in progress. With the premier of Robert's latest series quilt, Robert's Floral Garden, we are thrilled to include this page celebrating the inspiration of Robert Callaham. We know you'll enjoy these photos of quilts stitched by you, our McCall's Quilting readers. To make a queen size quilt, Mary Spalti of Denver, Colorado enlarged the GCA I patterns. Hand-dyed blues from her stash add a personal touch. Johnnie Meeks of Black Hawk, South Dakota selected a lovely palette for her version of GCA II, and to make the quilt fit a bed, she added a few blocks from GCA I, along with a basket block of her own design. The appliquéd border was inspired by the border fabric design.
